IZIP's are one of the most popular brand of e-bikes. Many of their models utilize the Currie Technologies Electro Drive drivetrain system. If your battery is in need of service, give us a call. We can rebuild and repair these often upgrading the capacity in the process giving you longer range rides.
We have upgraded customer's batteries for the E3 Peak, E3 Sumo, and E3 Dash which utilize the battery that inserts into the downtube up to 48V 10.5Ah. These are usually the TranzX BL17 model. If you're looking for even more range, we can double the capacity with one of our 48V 17.5Ah Sea Lion batteries. We can also take care of the flat rear rack battery found in the E3 Zuma, E3 Path, or E3 Vibe models along with their other electric bikes.
Another common form factor is the downtube-integrated battery pack found in the E3 Protour line with the COBI system. These are paired with a TranzX motor and can also be upgraded to 48V 10.5Ah.
We use fresh, grade A lithium ion battery cells and we have a variety of options to balance your budget with the performance you need. Our packs come with a full 12 month warranty. Give us a call or fill out our Battery Intake Form and let us get you back on your wheels. We'll even recycle your old battery for you!

I have a Stride 400 M. It will not turn on. The battery test button shows only 3 lights after charging overnight. Is there a reset button?
@Randy – We’d be happy to rebuild your old batteries. Unfortunately, we do not stock new or spare batteries, but have other upgrade options available.

I have two Izip E3 Dash bikes. One is the 2015 model with hub drive and BL17 battery, the other is 2017 model with crank drive and BL19 battery pack. I’d like to rebuild or replace two BL17 batteries and acquire a spare for the 2017 model bike.

My E3 Dash battery is only giving me 3 bars, and a 12-15 mile range— barely enough for my daily commute.
What are my options- exchange, send in for rebuild?
I’m trying to ride every day, so time without bike is an issue.
Thanks
