Currie Tech's IZIP Via Urbano is a great little folding bicycle with an assist to help you get where your going. The original battery is similarly small to fit inside the frame, 24V 5.0Ah and utilizes polymer cells. These are more prone to failure as they will expand and contract every time they are charged and discharged. The good news is we can rebuild these battery packs using brand new, durable 18650 cells. We can even offer an upgrade up to 24V 10.5Ah more than doubling your ride time between charges!
We warranty all of our rebuilds for a full 12 months. Contact us for current pricing information. Don't spend $400 on a new battery with only 5.0Ah. We'll upgrade it for cheaper than that! Send in your Via Urbano battery with the Battery Intake Form to get you back on your wheels!

Hi, I would like to know if you still do this battery and how much? What about the upgrade option, can I still use my old charger? Do I need to send you the old battery? How long it will take to ship to UK? Thanks and regards, Cassio
@Robb – Just send your battery in with our Battery Intake Form and we’d be happy to rebuild your battery for you. We can sell you a charger as well.
Hi, I was just given a iZip Via Urbano and want to get it going again. What does it take to get a rebuild? Also, it did not come with a charger, do you have these too? If not, what do I need. Thanks
@Hector – We do not carry parts for these bikes. Try contacting Raleigh Electric which owns the Currie and iZip brands now.

I made an inquiry a few days ago. I received a response giving pictures of a battery nothing like the one shown here on this page which shows the battery for the IZip Via Urbano folding bike. I have since tried to communicate with the person who initially responded but to no avail.
Can you please confirm that you can upgrade the battery to 14A and provide the correct link and price.
Thanks
